Hi:
Off the top of my head I would say your problem may be memory, you know each of 
the JAWS releases get bigger and along with XP you may be pushing your memory 
limit.

  No, I didn't upgrade to IE 7 on that computer. I have two computers and the 
  one I am speaking of is an older one but it has windows XP and jaws 8.0. 
  The computer that I am on now has windows XP, JAWS 8.0 AND ie 7 browser and 
  I am not having any problems so far with this one.
