To be honest I don't see why you can't just support 3.4.10 - this is a  
patch release to 3.4.9 if I recall correctly .

I don't recall any issues that prevent people from upgrading from  
3.4.9 to 3.4.10.  3.4.10 has been available for quite a while as well.
