Hi andi, As VK said i think you no need to worry about your id since your id will no not change. Simple algorithm routine will do. If your distribution algorithm is perfect, even you no need to worry about the retrieval of the record as the algorithm routine will take care of it . :-) may be i am wrong as i couldnt understand your reqirement fully, correct me if i am.
