According to the dicussions in this mailing list with the title:
- Future of EJX and remote administration GUI
- Administration GUI Framework
I would like to kick-off a new project called "Director" which
should provide an "Administration GUI Framework" for the
(remote) Administration GUI of jBoss. There are several ideas
ot there how to do it:
- plain Swing
- EJX
- NetBeans
- Kawa
and I would like to bring these efforts together, create a think
tank around this task and create a base for future coder joining
the project.
If I don't here any negative feedback I will add the project to
the list in the jbossweb and then write an introduction.
I will still focus on the decision about EJX or not EJX even when I
did not get any support from Rickard (!). I hope that till the end
of the week I can then add my ideas to the jbossweb and discus
this with you.
