I am back and will finish the JMX RMI-Connector and start
a Documentation Serie about JMX.
But first I finish the JMX RMI-Connector allowing Java Clients
accessing the MBeanServer from another JVM (local and remotely).
ToDo List:
- Catch the RemoteException from RMI and translate them into an
appropriate JMX Exception
- Make both the Server-side and the Client-side Connector able to
run outside jBoss to attract more people to JMX and maybe also to
jBoss
- Define a plugin or adaptor API allowing other people to implement
their own notification mechanism (like JMS or others)
- Correct the Client Factory helping to lookup a remote Connector
on the network
