FYI, the only browsers I know of supporting JDK1.2 out of the box are Netscape's v. 6 preview release, and Mozilla M18, which it is based upon. BUT, I haven't tested a client with these vm's yet myself.....

jBoss only works on JDK1.2.2 and higher. Unless you can find a browser with
that you have to use the plugin for applets.
