        enables query result set caching, where the cache key is the query 
string + parameter values and the cache value is the set of entity PKs that 
match the query result.  It does *not* enable caching of the entities 
themselves, for which you must specify 

Enabling entity caching and not query result set caching makes perfect sense, 
since Hibernate will check the cache first any time it needs to find an entity 
by PK.
