i don't see any problem the SerializableProxy class is in the hibernate3.jar file, i made sure i was using the same jar on server and client and still got the error. i don't think this is a classpath problem.
anyone sees any light in this problem, because it is really a annoying developping when you can't load entities with lazy attributes.
