Yeah, I read about the problems with the installer, and tried it without. I've had similar problems with three versions of JBoss, as well as the bundled version of JBoss/Portal. So far, in two weeks, I've only managed, in one instance, to get the Portal running - but then without the default login accounts created. I've tried it with Oracle/MySql and the default Hypersonic. No Joy. Very depressing as I've got a deadline in two weeks - that's go live for a Highways call centre managing road space bookings in central England. :-(((
