Hello, It shows that you have download the JBoss source, it requires build to run the server.The pre-built binaries are also available on the jboss download page in two forms, 1.Installation using installer.jar file by downloading the jboss-4.0.4.GA-Patch1-installer.jar
2.Simply extract the binary by downloading the jboss-4.0.4.GA.zip file. If you are using unix flavour, the former method requires the DISPLAY variable should be set on your classpath and also makesure, the x-window tool is running.
