The JBoss Network features: Job Integrated Customer Communications - Portal access to the JBoss Network knowledgebase - Up/downloading error logs, sample code, patches, etc. - Proactive 'push' of knowledge that is of relevance to the customer's specific environment - Bug reports, new features, security bulletins, etc. Tools Access - Makes JBoss configuration, management and supervision much more effective, even in massive deployment scenarios - Patching/migration/update of JBoss nodes and clusters made much easier - Optional non-stop upgrade and patching of JBoss clusters - ISV / OEM integration for extended application deployment Essential Job Functions: - Must be proficient both in Web applications and server side Java developments as he/she will have to implement both the web application acting as the Portal and to integrate with different back-ends (forums, support tool, databases, etc.). - Initial set of responsibilities will be to architect, design, implement, test and deploy the Portal. - Provide ongoing upgrades and enhancements to the Portal and will also become involved in other client-side developments for JBoss, as well as providing customized applications in the JBoss enterprise systems environment.
