Hi, I have a servlet (servlet x), which is never called through the URL, but is purely used for inheritance... All other servlets in the application extends the servlet I mentioned above... I need to load an init-param in (servlet x) so I added in the appropriate location in the web.xml file. But unfortantely it returns null... Any ideas or is it even possible???
