er... lemme be the devil's advocate here :-) (btw, don't get me wrong,
i'm as pro-linux as any of the ACs on /.) remember this architecture is
Java 2... and i'm not sure to what extent JPDA needs to be implemented
in order to pass JCK. so... the blackdown java port might be some way
off in terms of supporting jdebug...

short story: on linux you're probably stuck with the old jdb, at least
for now. another project? 8-)
