I downloaded and setup the JPDA and the jde beta11 release. I had
been using the JDE2.1.5 for a couple years now, and am so looking
forward to a debugger!
I followed the directions of setting a breakpoint, then selecting
JDE->Debug App, but the application runs right past my breakpoint.
My main window comes up, then I just exit since I cannot inspect
anything with the debugger at that point.
I've looked thru the JDE mail archives, and cannot quite find anyone
else having this error. Here is my setup - there are no error messages
in my JDebug or messages buffer. It all appears to be running
correctly.

I tried recompiling my main window code with the Sun's compiler rather
than the jikes compiler - and it DID stop at the breakpoint! Does that
mean
that I cannot use the jikes compiler with the beta JDE?
