nt4.0 emacs20.4 jde2.1.6 I just upgraded and found that the truncated lines, indicated by a '$' at the end of the line seem wedged in that if I Ctrl-e to get to the end of a line or If I try Ctrl-f my way past the $, it simply stops as if there were nothing beyond the truncation indicator. In my previous setup, emacs19.34.6 with jde1.? I was able to navigate beyond the $. It appeared to me that this was default behavior because I don't have anything in my _emacs file that attempts to control this behavior. So, the behavior from my previous setup has changed. I've read the doc and checked my truncate-lines variable which is set to true, which is what I want, IOW give each line of text one screen line. But how do I navigate past the $ Thanks.
