Which verson of the JDK are you using? The beanshell shipped with JDE 2.1.5
does not work with JDK 1.1.x becaus of a bug in the latter. The beanshell
shipped with the 2.1.6 beta includes a workaround. I recommend using 2.1.6
beta. It is highly stable and includes numerous bug fixes and enhancements.
The only reason it is still a beta is that the major new feature in 2.1.6
is the new JPDA-based debugger and the implementatio of this is nearly but
not quite yet complete.
