JDEbug

I am trying to use JDEbug to debug my software. I am using the "attach"
feature,
where I launch an application with the appropriate options. I then start the
debugger
from within emacs and attach to the process. The "attach" operation
succeeds, but
when I set breakpoints I am not able to hit them. I must be missing
something
here?!?!?!
