Sam, I agree with you in principle but I really am feeling overwhelmed by
the new stuff that needs to be done in the JDE plus all the stuff that
earns my daily bread.
When you come across examples of things that could be coded better, you
could help me out by recoding them yourself and sending me the file to
integrate into the JDE.
Note that patches are awkward for me because I develop on Windows and I
have not been able to get patch working correctly on Windows. I'd rather
have the entire updated file, which I can then diff with my development
version. This has the added advantage of allowing me to review the changes
being made.
