WCS never seems to send a subscription request to the client. I have
tried both the applet and WinJab. The never seems to receive the
request. I would really like to automate the subscription process
anyway. I don’t want to give users the choice of accepting the
subscription. I would be really nice to do this at the server end rather
than having to hack a client to make it work. Desperate measures,
however.....

Have the users you wish to watch accepted the presence subscription
request from your system?

I need to set up a web service to query a user's presence and display it
on a page. I am using wcs to attempt to do this, but I seem to be having
a problem with the fact that wcs is returning unavailable for all users.
Any hints?
