How does a client do it?? Wouldn't it be on those same line?? What I have done is, I notify an Analyst when a Trouble Ticket has been submitted by one of our FrontLine CSRs, they can be notified by Email,Pager, or Jabber. However if there Jabber Client(Presence) is not online, then I would like for it to send it to the next available Analyst.
I would think there should be a way since the clients do it to display the status of the users. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Mikael Hallendal Sent: Thursday, April 03, 2003 12:49 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [JDEV] [ANNOUNCE] Loudmouth 0.8 released! ons 2003-04-02 klockan 19.46 skrev Trent Melcher: > Mikael > > Dont want to take up too much of your time, however, Im using your > lm-send.c prog for one of my apps, what would be the easiest way to check > and make sure a user is available before sending a message??? > > Does it have to do with sub_type_avaiable or type_presence ??? Hmm .. I'm not entirely sure how you would do this with the jabber protocol. Anyone that knows?
