Dear All I have a server with 1mBit Broadband connection that unfortunately has a DHCP allocated IP address on which I wish to host my JBoss installation.
I also have a free website that could be redirected to my IP address. I have come up with a scheme but I don't know how to do it, as follows: When JBoss starts up it inspects the IP addresses that it is listening on and creates a file/page which it then FTP's to the free web site to form the redirection back to the JBoss server. I expect to only send the new page when the servers IP address changes which will probably only happen on a server reboot. Sounds easy if you say it quickly!!! Has anybody attempted to do such a thing? Can you help?
