I have to second this question, is there any specific reason to drop support for building OpenJDK 7 and 8 on Mac OS X 10.6.x? Is there anything the community can do to help continue ongoing support for 10.6.x as an OpenJDK development platform? I know my personal development machine will likely be on 10.6.x for the foreseeable future, so if I can help keep it supported I'd like to. Thanks, Dave
