I'm sorry to tell you that I did the push to jdk7u40-dev-gate/jdk before
seeing this email (I got confused by another email to proceed with the
push) but it didn't get propagated to jdk7u40-dev/jdk. This changeset
would need to be rollback?

Mandy,
ops team are aware of the issue and investigating. Hope to get an update
from them shortly.
Due to a configuration error on the server, the normal auto-push from
jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev-gate/* to jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev/* went to an incorrect
destination. That has been corrected, and the last push (by Abhijit)
to each of
jdk7u40-dev-gate
jdk7u40-dev-gate/corba
jdk7u40-dev-gate/jaxp
jdk7u40-dev-gate/jaxws
jdk7u40-dev-gate/jdk
was rolled back on the servers. Abhijit will redo his push later
tonight, and then jdk7u40-dev will be open for normal business.
Look for push notifications from Abhijit.

Sean, Iris,
Looks like the jdk7u40-dev-gate and jdk7u40-dev have different heads
that I can't push the changeset via the gate repo:
$ hg push
pushing to ssh://[email protected]/jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev-gate/jdk
searching for changes
abort: push creates new remote head 3e0468ae745a!
(you should pull and merge or use push -f to force)
http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev-gate/jdk/
http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev/jdk
Can you check that out please?

Thanks Iris!
Can I ask people with approved phase 2 approval requests to push
their fixes into the jdk7u40-dev forest ? b31 starts on Tuesday night
pacific time and Lana wishes to take a PIT snapshot at 08:30 PDT on
Tuesday morning.
Regards,
Sean.

Subject: [7u communication] Request to create 7u40 stabilization
forests
With the promotion of 7u40 b30 complete and the related tags added
to the jdk7u forest, I'd like to request that the following 7u40
stabilization forests be created :
hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u40 based on
hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u/ tag jdk7u40-b30
hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u40-dev based on
hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7u/jdk7u/ tag jdk7u40-b30
All new fixes for 7u40 should be pushed to the jdk7u40-dev forest
once it becomes available. I plan to update the jdk7u OpenJDK
project page to indicate that 7u40 is in stabilization phase and
that jdk7u-dev is now accepting 7u60 fixes.
regards,
Sean.
