We intended the library that calls cddawav to work on other operating systems 
too, could you try to find out what byte order other OS use for their sound 
drivers? I could add a new parameter "machine" for output-endianess= instead of 
"little" and big" that would cause cdda2wav to output data in machine byte 
order.
