Oh, thanks for clearing this up for me.  I have reviewed our contracts
and notice that they have no contract with us.  We do have a contract
with them to use Samba in gnome-vfs.

I have sent a separate email to the manager of the Samba team, their
lead developer and the jds-dev and jds-re mail aliases, so hopefully
this will get cleared up soon.  Let's wait to hear what they say when
they respond - hopefully soon.  I imagine we can come up with a
better long-term solution than the symlink.
