What was the context for the mesaage from Siemens? Not being in the US, isn't it an *import* :-)


Was this a info message to all users? Note to devs etc? Now? By graduation?


We do need to do this. Only case I'm aware of is a possibility of needing to (optionally) add BouncyCastle to get SHA-224 but currently it's not used. Otherwise it's as per proposal "No specific cryptography."

A few incubator projects are listed.
