Minor:
<jena-tdb-0.9.0-incubating-source-release.zip>
contains a tmp directory from testing.
Interesting catch - I'll see about putting the test area in target/
and maybe also track down all the points is created to make sure
its deleted.
Yes, target or create it in the temp directory... although it appears
they forgot to include that in the jdk:
<http://stackoverflow.com/questions/617414/create-a-temporary-directory-in-java>
Finally present in jdk 7!
I like the name to be fixed ... so that when tests go wrong, I know
where to look for evidence! There are some assembler scripts that know
the location of the testing temp area as well.
And on "certain OS'es" the tests have to have one temp directory per
test because of not being able to delete mmap'ed files.
For now, made to work by placing in target/ (bit of a hack).
One thing I do want to avoid is tweaking the Apache release-source
process and its assembly. It's better if we can use that as-is
capturing best practice.
