http://packages.debian.org/wheezy/jenkins seems to indicate that James Page has
created a series of Jenkins packages for Debian Wheezy. I assume James'
intention is to include Jenkins in the next release of Debian.
I think that would be really great, since I will now be able to install a
Jenkins version along with my Debian 7.0 using the standard Debian 7.0 media.
I will need to learn how to tell some of my Debian "wheezy" machines to prefer
the Jenkins packages from http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian-stable/ or from
http://pkg.jenkins-ci.org/debian/.
Are there already pointers to directions so I can prefer one source of Debian
packages over another?
Thanks,
Mark Waite
