Hi Marco, I am glad to hear you consider contributing to selenium test suite.
The exception means that runner timed out waiting for jenkins to become ready ("Jenkins completed initialization" should appear in log). I do not use tomcat controller but the details should be in Jenkins log (probably "./last_test.log").
