We have just completed the design and have begun building the prototype of a
persistence
framework that manages rule and application object data in relational tables while
communicating with Jess via an implementation of ReteDisplay.
A white paper will be complete describing the framework within a few days if you are
interested in reading it.
The framework is to be multithreaded and supports a cache of rules and application
objects accessible by multiple clients connected via JDK 1.1 RMI (RMI/CORBA IIOP
future).
