This code looks fine, so I'm guessing you've neglected to add the
Deftemplate you constructed to the Rete engine --

  r.addDeftemplate(dt);

The examples in the manual actually use the much simpler
Rete.executeCommand("(deftemplate...)") so there's no example of doing
this.
