Hi Paul, with user tracking I mean that I can reconstruct what content/link/application a user used to give more personalized features. If the information is stored in a database or file or whatever you can analyse it to give better information, content and so on.
You can compare it with amazon i.e. where a user where offered other books depend on what he was searching for.
