Same portlet showing multiple times in the Pane/Tab

Hi 

I already have a portlet in a tab and if I try adding the same portlet again
in the same tab
it starts showing the same portlet twice in the tab.

This is obviously not the correct behaviour.

Is there any way to get around this ?

We are using JetSpeed 1.5.
