Hi Vin,
That JDK won't work with J2 because of the preferences bug.  See:

I initially had problems downloading the jar files
from the remote servers. I followed the threads in
this forum and I finally got all of the jars in the
right places. The BUILD seems to be working fine.
The
deployment task "quickStart" worked without a
problem.
Now when I start the Tomcat Engine, the following
exception gets thrown:
Also, I dont see any prefs/ folder under jetspeed2.
I
would appreciate if somebody can help me get through
this.
