Here in Seattle there is an organization called Washington Lawyers for the Arts. They offer limited free or very low-cost consultations with attorneys specializing in copyright for artists and other arts-related matters (such as immigration law for visiting artists, etc., etc.). If you're lucky, you may connect with an attorney willing to take something a bit further, if necessary, pro bono or for a reduced fee. Try finding something like that in your neck of the woods.
