I'm posting this to the list, because someone else might find this relevant,
too.

Here in Seattle there is an organization called Washington Lawyers for the
Arts. They offer limited free or very low-cost consultations with attorneys
specializing in copyright for artists and other arts-related matters (such
as immigration law for visiting artists, etc., etc.). If you're lucky, you
may connect with an attorney willing to take something a bit further, if
necessary, pro bono or for a reduced fee. Try finding something like that in
your neck of the woods.
