Addressing a joint meeting between the SPLM Political Bureau members and the SPLM Caucus of the Council of States in Juba on Friday, Kiir asked them to elect a Speaker, a Deputy Speaker and a Chief Whip. The President also urged the Council of the States to discourage idleness among Sudanese youth, and contribute to the modernization of the countryside.
