WAU, 18th August 2011 [Gurtong] - A delegation from the SPLM General
Secretariat in Juba, led by acting Deputy Secretary Hon. Antipas Nyock
and assisting Planning Secretary Mr. Arkangelo Anyar Anyar arrived in

campaign on national building.

The national building campaign was unveiled a month after declaring
the Republic of South Sudan independent on the July 9th 2011 and also
based on the party’s long struggle to liberate South Sudanese

“The party’s massive campaign is geared towards maintaining unity in

The caucus was attended by the State Governor Hon. Rizik Zackaria

secretariat headed by Kamil Wana Uraj.

Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Antipas Nyock called on the people
of South Sudan, particularly the people of Western Bahr el Ghazal

As part of the new upcoming government, the SPLM political party will
also be reformed right from the General National Secretariat and

“Now that we have achieved our independent nation, we need to
distinguish ourselves from tribalism which has now remained to be
another war in South Sudan,” he added.

Nyock warned the SPLM members within the political party, who are
architectures of political instability; they work hard for the
downfall of others for the sake of taking over powers.

“There is a need for us to focus mainly on unity and development for
the sake of our country...Our mission in the leadership of SPLM is to
provide equal service delivery to the people of South Sudan,” he
affirmed.

tour all the ten States but will first cover the greater Bahr el
