The governments of Sudan and South Sudan have agreed to have
coordinated diplomatic positions in all international forums.

The Undersecretary of South Sudan's Ministry for International
Cooperation Majok Gwandong, held talks with his counterpart in
Khartoum on Sunday.
He said his country is keen on having diplomatic ties with Khartoum...

Sudan's Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rahama Allah
Mohammed Osman, also said the ties between the two nations will
continue despite political separation.
He expressed Khartoum's readiness to support Juba in areas of development...

Meanwhile Ethiopia's President Meles Zenawi has called for a meeting
between President Al Bashir and Malik Agaar the head of the SLPM in
Sudan to resolve all outstanding issues in South Kordofan and the Blue
Nile...
Zenawi made a surprise visit to Khartoum on Sunday and held a meeting
with Sudan's President Omer Al Bashir in an initiative to ease
discussions between the government and the SPLM in Sudan.
