Javier, I have set up the system with the following triggers:
Trigger Name: Default Alarm Trigger Trigger Type: Alarm Trigger Rule: If Event Types not in SLA, Application, then Send Email Trigger Name: Interface Status Change (Pollers & Traps) Trigger Type: Alarm Trigger Rule: If Event Types in Application, then Email I have an event with the Event Type of Application, generated, and I received no email, only the alarm.
