yes -  I am monitoring several 24xx, 25xx, 40xx and 41xx switches.
Just enter the SNMP-community via WEB or telnet, add the hosts to jffnms (or
use the network discovery), do the interface discovery and start looking at
the usage of your switches.
Only the basic information about the interfaces (and VLANs) is available
through the standard MIBs.

YOu may want to switch off the "check status" on the individual interfaces
(especially on the client interfaces), otherwise you will get an alarm for
any PC switched on or off. Alarms are more useful on uplinks or complete
VLANs ....
