It seems like that was the problem - as soon as I commented it out
interfaces started getting polled.
On a side note, here's a patch that should allow the latest RRD
version to work with JFFNMS (it seems the only incompatibility is that
you have to now escape any ":"s in the COMMENT: field).
I haven't tested it extensively, but it works for me under FreeBSD
(sorta stuck with rrdtool-1.2.8 if I want to use ports) for at least
traffic graphs...
