Hi,
a question regarding some log-entries. When fsck-ing my a
jfs-formatted partition, which according to df is 60016132kb
large, I get this message several times:
Dec 13 15:24:43 machine kernel: 03:41: rw=0, want=60050940, limit=60050938
Dec 13 15:24:43 machine kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
This is probably because of the 4096 bytes per block restriction.
But is this dangerous somehow? Does only fsck.jfs try to access the
"extra space"? Or is it also a problem with the jfs-kernel module?
I am running linux-2.4.14 with jfs-1.0.10 and jfsutils-1.0.10 with
SuSE 7.1.
