2.6.7 is pretty recent, so it's probably not a problem that has been fixed yet. It would be helpful if you can recreate the problem and, after fsck -f fails the first time, send me the output of "jfs_fscklog -d -e /dev/cciss/c0d0p8" and "jfs_logdump -a /dev/cciss/c0d0p8". jfs_logdump will save the output as ./jfslog.dmp.
