Jason,

I have never attempted to view a comment using my braille display,
though I suspect that what you describe is indeed the case. Jaws
functionality with MS word in all aspects of review and edits and
comments is spotty and requires some patience to accomplish.

I do quite a bit of editing with Word so if there is anything I can do
to help, feel free to contact me privately.
