Windows 7 64-bit, JAWS15, latest update.

I left the house yesterday, so I shut down my computer. All was working when I left.

Came home tonight, started up my computer, and JAWS would not talk. Tried restarting a couple of times. No JAWS. Put in a flash drive I have with NVDA, and got it to talk to me. Tried to start JAWS from the desktop shortcut; got the message the file had been changed or moved and the shortcut would no longer work. Explored to
c:\program files\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\15.0
and found that, indeed, there was no jfw.exe

I always run my machine with a standard account, so there's no way I could've deleted the program file.

Logged on as admin with the same results. Tried to reinstall the program and got the message that I needed to reconfigure using Programs & Features because another version was already installed. Thought I'd try a system restore. Ran restore to December 17. Got the message that Restore failed and no changes were made to my system, but JAWS came back and is working fine now. Went back to the above referenced path, and indeed, JFW.exe is now there once again.

Do huh?!?!?! What just happened? Anybody else had this experience?
