Brad, I would ask your administrators there if they have made a change to
your group policy that governs the domain that your computer runs on. I had
a similar situation come up at a job site recently. It could very well be
that they've made some policy changes that cause the shortcuts to not work
properly.

Subject: Re: jaws.exe disappears?

Update to my own posting: I came into work this morning, turned on my
computer, and heard the usual, "JAWS for Windows. Press Control Alt Delete
to Log On" (we're on a domain here.) Clearly JAWS was still on my machine
at that point. I logged in fine, but when my desktop came up, there was no
JAWS. Ran the JAWS shortcut, and got this same message that the item the
shortcut refers to has been changed or moved. So again, JFW.EXE just
disappeared. Ran System Restore, got the same error that Restore failed and
no changes were made, but JAWS was back.

Am I the only one having this problem? JFW 15 with latest update, Windows
7 Pro 64-bit.
