I have not followed this thread but have you tried entering on the folder, navigate to the folder ribbin and tabbing to delete folder?

I've tried arrowing around there, but I can only arrow up and get two other buttons, a sent mail button and an inbox button. I'm using the CTRL+Y keystroke to get to my list of folders, but when I move to the folder(s) I want to delete and try pressing the applications key absolutely nothing happens.
