This happens with me also. Several Windows programs such as Windows Update run at startup. These programs use ram and processing time, so at first, JAWS doesn't have as many resources on your computer. Once these tasks have been completed, there is more processing time left over for JAWS to use.

Hello Listers,
My machine seems to stutter and jerk until it gets warmed up, especially if I do things too fast. Then after a few actions it performs normally. Does anyone have any suggestions please? I am using Jaws 16.0.1925, Windows 7, 64 bit.
