Press Alt followed by W for the view ribbon bar, and then press E which is the 
letter for draft layout.

Kevin,

Yes, this would be the view and you could change it by going to the view tab. 
In Word 2013, and I think 2010 as well, alt+W will get you to the view tab. 
Then use your tab key to move through the possible views. Whichever view you 
are defaulting to will be checked.
