Actually, Daniel, I was replying to someone who asked how to do this in
Windows7. I do not know the procedure for selecting all icons to appear in
the system tray for Windows8.

I do not know what you mean by right clicking on an "empty area" of the
task
bar. When I get on the task bar, I arrow through and find no empty areas.
Also, I might add that I am wanting to perform this task on a laptop using
JAWS 14 and Windows 8..

To always show all icons in the system tray
1. Right-click an empty area on the taskbar, and then click Properties.
2. Under Notification area, click Customize.
(if using speech, Press Applications Key and arrow down to Customize)
3. Select the Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar check
box, and then click OK.
